Teaching Afro-German History and Culture in College-Courses: A Report on Successes and Challenges
Gundolf Graml received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and is Assistant Professor and Director of German Studies at Agnes Scott College, where he teaches courses on German and Austrian literature, culture, and film. He has published several articles on the connection between tourism, travel, and identity in Austria as well as on the role of blackness/whiteness in 1930s German films. He is currently finishing a book manuscript titled “(Re)Visiting Austria: Tourism, Space, and National Identity after 1945.”
