CFP for 2025  conference Rekinning, Reckoning, and Justice is available now!

This year’s three-day, virtual event, Rekinning, Reckoning, and Justice, will be held on February 20-22, 2025 and will be free and open to the public. Our annual BGHRA Conference theme asks, what is next for us? what does justice look like? We wish to consider reparative justice and how, using this framework, we can reckon with state violence and displacement, as well as with family rupture. How are we healing?

For more information about this year’s call for participants, check out the CFP web page HERE!

Introducing:

THE MAWU LISA PROJECT

My name is Sophie Yukiko. I am a Berlin based artist reaching out today to learn about a possible cooperation for a project I am currently involved in and preparing for.
My friend and colleague Marie Zoe Buchholz – a German artist as well – has drafted out her new theatre Piece MAWU LISA. The dance centered piece will be produced in 2025 in co-production with Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf, Germany and will be her first ensemble piece, as her previous works were Solo pieces so far.
For the MAWU LISA project, I take on the role as author/writer and dramaturgist. More Info:
