The Initiative Schwarze Menschen in Deutschland (ISD) is a nationwide network by and for Black people. Established in 1985, it brings together community organizing, political education, empowerment, and advocacy against institutional and structural racism.
ADEFRA — Black Women* in Germany — is a Black queer-feminist forum for exchange, knowledge production, political intervention, and community organizing. Its work makes the experiences, ideas, and histories of Black women* central to understanding German society.
Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. is a community-based education and empowerment organization in Berlin-Wedding. Founded in 2012, it opened its neighborhood library in 2014 and connects literature, arts, political education, youth work, and advocacy.
